Who We Are

Sound & Colour Films are a commercial video production company based in Stockport (South Manchester). We started the company over 6 years ago and have built the business and reputation for providing high-quality, fast-turn around, full-service video content across a range of sectors. We’ve worked with big brands such as EA Sports, Molson Coors, Scotts Menswear, BBC Sport, Adidas, Liverpool FC, Hoover, Barbour and Kia. Our films feature top talent such as Sam Fender, Marcus Rashford, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Simon Rimmer and Judy Murray.

We create bespoke video content across a range of formats; from short-form high-impact social media videos, to TV and online commercials, documentaries, corporate comms videos, interviews and multi-camera livestreams.

This far our sales have come mostly from reputation and word of mouth, a small amount of online advertisement and a wide industry network. Our excellent service and product means we have a strong foundation of repeat clients - but for us to reach our ambitions we need to scale our sales reach with both agencies and brands.

We need your expertise!

You will have at least 5 years experience working in business development and marketing roles, preferably within the media/creative/video/marketing sectors; demonstrating a working knowledge of how a video production company operates and the services we sell.

You will have the knowledge and confidence to spearhead a sales and marketing strategy, generating the right type of leads through an effective sales pipeline of your creation. You will have a wide network of industry contacts you can leverage to get our company seen and create lasting relationships for the business.

You will not be given a list of potential clients to cold-call. We need a proactive and determined person who can deliver results under their own management.

Collaborating with our content creation team, you will design and implement a marketing strategy that will demonstrate our expertise and grow our audience across a range of social and online channels.

Strengthening and maintaining our relationships with current clients, offering bespoke video production packages that meet their exact needs.

Help us to develop new service offerings and revenue streams for the business.

What we offer

The role is full-time 9am-5pm based at our Cheadle offices, with opportunity to work flexibly and work-from-home when appropriate. Some travel may be required to meet clients. 

£30,000 - £35,000 annual salary DOE, plus commission on new sales, commission plan and annual review.
